This Camel was flown by Lt. G A Vaughn of the 17th Aero Squadron. Lt. Vaughn managed to shoot down two enemy Fokker D.VIIs on 22 September, 1918 but he was later shot down. A replica of this aircraft can be seen at the USAF National Museum.
